5 Resume Tips (the what, the why, no bull)

Email accounts are free, you should have a dedicated account in your name for your job search and related correspondence.
This will help keep you organized on who you did what with and when, again, showing your organizational skills and business savvy.
Including your city, state and zip code information on your resume is critical.
Popular resume databases give the user options to search within x miles of the job location for available candidates, if you do not list this information, the search engine will overlook your resume and you will not come up in the results, period.
Craft your resume so that it gives the right information to the right people at the right time.
An entry level HR rep. may not know that J2EE has anything to do with Java, a line manager is going to want to see quantitative information, and top level folks are going to want a bigger picture, what objectives did you meet, what business problems did you help solve, what where the end results. How do you do this? Refer back to the beginning of this line item.
Do list the technical or business environment you worked in for each position.
This helps the reader understand the breath and depth of your experience with xyZ.
